Dreamland's wreck

Some said the day was bright
But no light there was in my sight
Oh the peace-wrecking bawl I hear
Of throbbing pain and dripping tear
Before I could process, fell in the night
For a doze, tried I, with all my might
Louder became that squeal of fear
Farther I ran, more I drew near
Took me not a shake to win the fight
Drowned I, asleep, into the bottom of the night
Popped up a land so familiar
Of authentic splendor, that to me was once dear
The tick I believed my haters right
Was when this world ran out of sight
Broken was I learning it never was there
In front of me stands it , now , letting me stare
It took, like this , a night
To design this world of light
STOP! Lost in my world, do I now hear,
Oh that squealing screech of dread and fear?
Everything though wrong looks right
In this world lacking strokes of plight
Not a cry of anguish do I hear
Truly a land of my design , I swear!
To my woe, faded away that quick sight,
The darkest day rose from the brightest night,
A sound of shatter and pain did I soon hear,
The wrecking of the kingdom that to me was once
Dear..
